Changed up the restrictions on signatures a bit. Most everyone is restricted now to no images and four lines. Subscribers, admins, and mods get the perk of two images and up to seven lines.

Hopefully this speeds up downloads on pages and lowers the amount of scroll time.

Thanks for understanding. I'm all for self expression but also gotta keep signatures from taking over a page.

It's still better than some other sites. Over at another forum that I'm on, webmasterworld, there are no sigs, no avatars, no fonts/sizes/colors, etc. No one can even mention a link other than dominant authorities (i.e. google, wikipedia, etc). It kind of sucks sometimes but the results are super fast pages, and pure content without any noise. It has it's pros and cons.

What is the difference between a subscriber and a regular member? Since most of us aren't admins or mods :D

    Thanks!

You need a quota (per day) on sig pictures.

It's already out of hand. When someone (a subscriber) has posted his sig a 1000 times it's still boring and wasteful of time. :-k
