    I've got that fear, as well. So unless I'm going local, I always use the locks on my King Cobra racks. That way, if the bikes comes off the rack, the lock will keep it from causing a horrific accident on the strets.#-o

    Man, you're lucky you only had minor damage to your rig and no one drive over it at 70+ miles per hour ;)

    Whatever sort of rack you use, it's probably a good idea to add a few zip ties for extra security when it involves any highway driving. That way, if the straps fail, your bike should stay put :bang:
