Thanks Doc, I already knew that, it comes with age, right????!!!:lol: Saw Dr. Reiman in Murrieta yesterday for a 2nd opinion on my lovely left knee issue. Seems as though I have a "loose body" (a piece of ligament sheered off and is floating around getting caught). I am scheduled for an Arthroscopy on 5/6 and should be back on the bike by mid June and then have 4 weeks to build up for our Whistler trip in mid July!!!!:clap::clap:
Bummer that its more time off, but that's great that it is an identifiable (and fixable) problem! Good luck, and you are going to have so much fun in whistler!
All our best wishes with getting this over and done with! Once this issue is fixed, can we expect more XC type action out of you?? :bang:
Surely you jest!!!!! AM yes, XC NEVER (I retired)!!!!!! However Kay says I can borrow her Niner anytime I want.
It's good to hear your on your way back on the bike. Can't think of a better place to get back on the bike then Whistler.
Keith's uncle had something like that ... they fixed him up well. He does tons of rock climbing, and he is over 70! Best wishes Nancy! I'm glad to hear you'll be back soon - and just in time for Whistler!
Nancy's screws have been loose for a while now. That's why she keeps loosing her marbles Fun fun I tell ya. Had mine done last Friday and now I need to get a second opinion. Hope yours is not TOOO bad.
Nancy, If any part of you falls off during our next ride I will be sure to pick it up and return it to you.
Nancy - YOU BETCHA! It would be an honor for you to ride the Niner. When you're ready it will be ready to ride!
Well I'm glad to hear that the doc was finally able to pinpoint the problem. I'm sure you will be back up and charging in no time.:bang:
Update Surgery time is near!!!! One last trip to Bootleg this weekend and then surgery and rehab!!!! Looking soooo forward to having a functional knee again. :bang: All prayers and healing vibes will be accepted!!!
