Ride Report I found the guy who ran me over today..

    Turns out he doesn't even have insurance!!!

    I was coming down through sleepy hollow, luckily just cruising, and there he was! Right in the middle of my line. I locked up the binders and stopped, maybe 10 feet from him and he just went about his business like nothing happened. We started talking, and he just stood there. I grabbed my camera phone, I was able to get a couple pictures, but he just stayed there, just doing his business. I asked him about insurance, he looked at me like I was speaking a different language.

    Rat bastard!!

    That is hilarious! Rode Oaks this morning and thought of another thread like this about a deer hitting a rider as a Deer crossed Goat as I was descending--looked for another Deer behind him as I crossed the spot he jolted across, but I was lucky.

    Sorry,

    I was hit by a deer a little over 2 months ago. Broken Clavicle, three ribs...

    So my 2nd ride back, I almost hit another one. I'm pretty much done riding Whiting..

    The guy who ran you over today got hit by a car on El Toro next to Cooks. I found a dead deer lying on the side of the road it was hit pretty bad a total mess all over the place. I was about to take a photo but decided not to. RIP Mr Deer.

    With the recent growing population of deer, I've come across a lot of deer being hit by cars on Santiago Canyon. I drive super slow and keep my focus on the sides of the road (as well as the road) to see them when traveling that road now, I never want to hit one............
