I'll help you take it apart, I'll only charge you 1000. All kidding aside, I dont think you gonna pull one over on these guys, and if you do part it out post up the parts, Im turning into a part whore...keep in mind this forum is use to buying and selling 5 dollar front Dérailleurs.. and crazy stuff like that...

Don't sell your bike, sell your car. You might not get as much $ though. :)

+1 part it out. Sell it on Craig's List. Less hassle than eBay, make them come to you and save shipping. Plus people seem to be less keyed into going market value there IMO based on previous experience.

Why would you pay $450 for pedals????

I think when you bought this you got hosed(if you paid website retail)...I don't think you'll be able to get $3500 for it complete or parted out....especially won't get your money back on the pedals...

Chris, don't sell the bike. You will kick yourself(hard) if you do. I sold a bike for $$$ and have been regretting it ever since. I would quit the job at the shop and get a better paying job before I sold any of my bikes again.

    Ebay it.

I always get more than I expect to sell my bikes for there.

I sold my Surly for almost 2K dollars. Had a buy it now at 1500 but the reserve was met and then someone made a BIN offer that I couldn't refuse.

I only put 1000 into the bike by buying parts cheap online and from the Path. What a bike is worth is up to the buyer. Let them get in a bid fight for it on ebay, unless you want to hook up an STR member with a legit and fair price and save time with all of the shipping hassle.

Either way you're going to have a very hard time selling it for anywhere close to what you want, so I would just keep it.

Check the completed auctions on ebay and see what they are going for.

    Nice bike!

even $5K for a yeti is way to much. Have you tried the new Enduro? Yeah roll up with your $5000 and try that out. Amazing!
