    Here's some updated photos pre and post surgery:

    Pre-Surgery(1 weeks ago): Can you guess which ankle is swollen?

    Post Surgery(yesterday):

    Xrays from surgery: This is so cool. So, they used metal buttons to pull the ligaments back in place. One on each side of the ankle and pulled together with some sort of filament. The buttons and filament are permanent. I thought I woke up with some buttons missing from my shirt...haha

    As promised, the best thing of all, I got them to make my cast to match my bike: black and red:

    My dog and bike match each other too:

    Good healing vibes. I went down on San Yuan trail, they sent a hillicopter he said it would be $5,000.00 if I got in. I rode down with my friends, the doctor said it was just a deep bruise. Heal up quickly.

    Wow! That is some cast! And the pictures are something else as well. Too bad you aren't in grade school. That would rock for show and tell! Ah well, that is what the forum is for. Heal well and quickly. You need to get on the bike before your dog is grown up!

    G-sus! They drilled a hole straight through your lower tib and fib! That should hold up, eh?!
    Your dog, bike, and cast all match. I afraid to ask about your underwear! I think they have support groups for this sort of thing.

    Heal up Bud!

    Wow, that is some injury. With each day you will get better and have a little less pain and more strength. Take care and you will be back in the saddle in no time.
