    Been lurking for some time but really only post on mtbr and weightweenies.starbike. Anyhow, I ride an 06 turner rfx (33 lbs) and a nitrous (17 lbs). I'm a chemist by trade, but love beer, bikes and my family when not workin. Guess that's all for now.:beer:

    Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I mainly ride behind my house in chula vista near the olympic training center, the fire trail (behind home depot), and also in pq canyon when I"m up north at my parents house during the week. Weekends, I like riding noble (RFX) and hodges (nitrous).

    There's a little single-track trail with some cool bridges that starts off by the YMCA/Fire station and ends up behind home depot.

    Have you ridden that?

    Yeah, that's the "fire trail" or "snake". I don't usually hit most of the stunts anymore as I"ve seen too many gnarly spills and I"ve got kids and don't want to take a chance breaking my neck.

    No, that was on the very first little obstacle. It's like a small up and down wedge thingy built on a wooden spool.

    He took it up backwards (went up where you're supposed to come down) and wasn't able to make it.


    He did try the double teeter-totter and bailed after the first teeter portion, though. By some miracle, he didn't go over the bars and was able to land safely.
