Got a little loose and got bucked, good times. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vcSVTjQzjk&feature=plcp
Dang you did crash hard lol, looks like you tried to switch to the left side of the trail and front tire washed out
from the looks of it you need to be a tad bit farther back on the bike, buddy. But hey. Wash out like that happen to the best of us. I crashed exactly like this out at SJT a few weeks back. Just keep on riding. Best advice if you ask me. lol.
How does something like that happen? Did your front tire start to go flat or something? Your thread title sort of implied that there was a lesson to be learned and I can't tell from just watching...
All I know is my front wheel lost traction and I was airborne shortly thereafter. The trail was a little dusty and loose that day and I might have had too much air in the tires. Woke up the next morning and had no grip strength whatsoever and no flexibility in the wrist. My shoulder was pretty sore as well. The real b!tch was the climb back up from where my bike ended up at. I couldn't have picked a worse spot. That's what my comments after the crash were about. I was thinking "this is gonna take a minute..." LOL!
I can name my two worst crashes in life, and the were at speed on two really tame sections of trail. for whatever reason, I just f----kin' stacked and went Ass over elbows. It happens. I've been down lotsa steep stuff, but sometimes it's the tame, simple stuff that gets ya.
Hope you didn't break your wrist. I noticed the first thing you checked after the crash was your wrist. Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
More than you probably wanted to know about why you had no grip the next day... http://www.myhand.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=78
