    Frame Size?

    One of the only few that included frame size.... without frame size the #s mean little to nothing to me. If you had an extra large FS frame that was mid 20 something that would be impressive, but a FS @ 25 means little if it's an extra small!

    I weigh 240 lbs...taking weight off my bike doesn't make sense...it's cheaper and easier to take weight off of me!! I build my bikes to take abuse, I'd rather have parts I can trust on long rides. I'm not saying there are not good light parts, but just not in my price range.

    I am not a weight weenie at all, in fact I know I can drop three or four pounds off my Blindside with ease if I had cash, and no worries about replacing everything way too often.


    Ok, the Blindside with a fairly burly build, still sits a nutthair under 42lbs

    the SL, weighs in at 28.8 lbs. Now this bike is a weight weenie build, but its how it was sold, so I will ride the shit out of it till I break something, then it will probably gain some weight.

    My kona dawg is 35 pounds and it is supposed to be an XC bike but i have taken some pretty bad falls with it on DH trails and nothing has happened to my bike yet.:bang:

    Ells Epi (L) 28lbs. with fairly heavy wheels (Mavic 317's), when I taco a wheel, it will lose a little weight.

    I put the Thompson Elite post back on, carbon fiber spacers/top cap, and the RF Dues Crankset on. Bike dropped to 25lbs exact! that's 1lbs 11oz lighter! i'm happier now... i'm thinking new lighter tires (maybe tubeless) will hopefully knock off a pound but I doubt it...
