I had the unfortunate pleasure of receiving multiple Gun Shot Wounds in 2004. These wounds have resulted in 12 surgeries, a long time in a wheelchair and the painful fun of having to relearn how to walk. I have a bionic device (advanced Bionics in the house....) installed to help control the pain. And a great wife who keeps me in check when things get a little out of hand. Multiple cool scars that all the chicks dig.

I beleive that it is because of my injuries that I have had the pleasure of getting into mountain biking. I have only been out 3 times since buying my bike (Giant Trance X1). And I absolutely love it.

I look forward to meeting more of the local riders and especially those with disabilities. Trust me it is hard damm work getting in and out of the pedals with a bum leg. Then again it is kewl watching the handicapped fall ( I can say this cause I am one ).

Life is what we all make it. Hope to see you on the trail.

3rd Tour in Iraq. Trust me AK-47 rounds hurt.

I usually tell everybody my wife shot me. They get a big kick out of that.

Well, it's good that you're back and Biking is a great way to deal with all kinds of stuff. My little bro got back from his second tour of Iraq a few months back and he's picked-up mtn biking since as well.

This next week I'm fairly busy, but next weekend and week after is fairly flexible. Let me know what kind of trails ie: distance, tech, elevation profiles you would like to ride and we can hook-up. I look forward to meeting you.

First off, THANK YOU for being a bigger man than I and many others in this country in stepping up and paying a massive and almost fatal price.

Awesome to hear hear that you caught the bug too. I myself was hooked instantaneously after my first ride.

Who knows maybe we'll run into eachother on the trail one of these days. If you ever make it down to San Diego and lookin' for someone to ride with hit me up via PM - I'd love to ride with you.
