True Story:

I was in the house working on my bike when I heard yelling. I looked out the window and saw the neighbor yelling at some woman sitting on the curb... butt naked! When the guy went back in his house, my wife forced me to run out with a blanket for the girl. As soon as I stepped out the door, the guy came out and looked right at me. I played dumb and walked back in the house. My wife then picked up the phone and called the Sheriff, giving them the neighbors address... AND ours! Five minutes later, the Sheriff rolled up... to my house... with the neighbors watching. The Sheriff knocked vigorously on my door. My wife opened the door and whispered, "Not here. Them across the street." The Sheriff walked back across the street and made arrests. My car was keyed two weeks later.

Moral of the story: If you have to call, don't use your own phone, and don't give out your name and address.
