Yup, bunny hop, stay loose, and as silly as it sounds remember you actually have to JUMP! with your legs and your body, you can't just pull the bike off of the ground while your feet are dead weight on the pedals.

[IMG]Speed is your friend, this is most important. Raise your seat post as high as it can go, always lock your elbows and close your eyes at take off. Do not open them till the stars go away. the most important thing is to take video so we can watch.

In all seriousness have fun ride lose and work up on lots of different jumps small doubles tabletops and step ups and learn to hip left and right, BMX tracks are good places to practice. Good luck

P.S. I'm now Rolling on StayBullet's old Bullet and that thing rocks

One of my favorite pics of all time! Steve (Wheel Slayer) really does my old Bullit good. He does things on that bike that I could never, ever do!

Seriously, Wheel Slayer kills it everytime...

I say just ride with people that are better than you and the only piece of good advice to give you is... if you can picture yourself hitting the jump, you can most likely do it. If you can't, just wait until another time. Nobody is going to give you a hard time.

I was riding with one of my buddys and he is a VERY good rider, I know he could hit the jump he was looking at but he said "I am just going to stand here and play with my vagina while I watch you guys hit it." Nobody thought any different of him, he will get it next time.

    Just have fun and ride...

Another good place to practice jumping is at Santiago Oaks at the top of the three b's there is a nice table top and a little step up. This should help you get the feeling of how your bike handles in the air and make you more comfortable. If you get extermely comfortable with jumping there is a great road jump right up the street.

The Kenter tables are actually not all that friendly any more... some questionable work has been done to them.

The tables at Kenter are a freakin hazard now. I'm hitting all the big stuff up there and wont even hit them tables because of how poorly they were recently re-built. Downright dangerous...

Kenter however has a lot more to offer though. Just the ride from top to bottom will sharpen bike handling skills and jumping technique. Always a great place to sharpen skills no matter what skill level you ride at.

Nah, you're still good to hit that line. Just keep in mind that the first table has a mellow lip with a crazy steep landing for whatever reason. Everything else is pretty much the same. Just be careful on the first table because it's a very very poorly build jump.

Garret... we can go tackle the bottom of Lynx where that rock drop-off/roller is; but instead, jump it. :D (Once you get it down of course). I still haven't jumped off of it yet. o_O
