Hello there. I'm 25, married and 50lbs overweight. My current riding buddies either don't have bikes, are too scared after breaking bones or ride at levels over my head. I'm looking to get in shape and ride some different trails. My favorite spot currently in Aliso Woods. Saturdays seem to be my best times until the day's get longer or there's a night ride.

Bro, I usually ride Aliso b/c I am also married with kids and since I live close I can ride and get home quickly. I also usually ride Sat mornings, usually early. PM me or post if you want to meet up.

Also I suck so my pace is pretty easy for most new guys to keep up with.

Aliso Woods is in South Orange County where I live. Take the 5 South, take the Alicia exit, turn right and go a few miles, turn right after the sports park.

I have not ridden Brown mountain or anything outside of Orange County.

there is a little bit of everything from mild family oriented fireroad riding, smooth singletrack, challenging climbs, short steep climbs, technical downhills and moderate downhills. its really hard to go wrong with riding in Aliso, laguna coast/el moro area.
