I'm normally a Ridemonkey lurker but I found this place while I was looking for some information on trails around Anaheim. So now I lurk here. I'm in Anaheim but I grew up in Hawaiian Gardens and consider the Long Beach area my home. A Trek Bruiser used to sit beneath me on my misadventures but I felt it was too much of a frame for me so I now ride a cheap Nashbar steel bike.

I've been lazy about riding for a couple years until I recently found out about Del Cerro through this site. I brought my brother along for a ride there and he's now got the idea to introduce some of his friends into mountain biking.\\:D/

See you guys on the trails.

Great to see the mountain biking spreading like a virus through your brother and his friends. How often are you in del cerro? I've been meaning to ride it again. Welcome to STR .

I've ridden Del Cerro three times in the two weeks that I've known about it.

There's a lot of crazy stuff up there. Do you guys know where I could find a map of that area? I just sort of pick a trail and hope it loops back around to a fireroad, it's been working so far.

Pretty much every trail links back up with the fireroad there. Once daylight savings returns I'll be hitting up the Ciz a couple times a week after work.
