With so many things being taken away from us it's great to see people like you working hard to fit our needs. :bang:

I hope we get to see you succeed and grow over the years!

Welcome to the site and thanks for posting. Will you allow 40 lbs 8" travel bikes? Mine needs to get dirty again. Toot-a-loo

Perhaps... funny how that is somehow meant as in insult!
You can watch my spandex clad ass any time just as long as it is from behind ;)

Seriously though, cross postings are not only annoying, but really tend to dilute the discussions.

Good attitude, grasshopper... we're just one big happy family. Good to see that this economy has not sucked the life out of good old entreprenuership.... yet. I think you'll find there are many riders out there that will be willing to put in the necessary sweat and effort to make Mt Waterman a viable mountain biking park.

Good luck & keep a good sense of humor about you.

    No worries.
I hate to see multiple threads because they are sooo tough to follow.

Perhaps you couls send a message to one of the moderators to get this thread and the other one: http://www.socaltrailriders.org/forum/adrenaline-factory/38312-lift-accessed-riding-waterman.html merged so that there would be one place to discuss the topic?

Maybe CalEpic can help you out on this? Try clicking this link to send a PM to him:

Welcome! If nothing else, all this talk of mtbing at Waterman has made me curious to try skiing there this winter! Very cool to have owners this down to earth. Thanks.

P.S. How much vertical ft does the chair lift gain?

    Best skiing south of Mammoth

Mt Waterman has 1000 ft of vertical, three lifts and plenty of terrain to explore if you know where you are going. Great tree skiing and bumps. I have skied all over the USA and done my time in Valdez, but there is no better place to ski than Mt Waterman. Sounds crazy I know, but talk to any Waterman ski hound and they will tell you the same.

    No bike restrictions.

How far are you from the Chilao campground? My son and I love riding that area and would be more than willing to go a little farther for some cool lift assisted runs on our big bikes. BTW, we come up from Lancaster via Upper Big Tujunga to Angeles Crest. Thanks and welcome to STR!
