Hey fellow riders. New guy here. Just found this site and very stoked about it. I ride mostly Aliso but do hit the surronding trails when I can. I'm a Strava junkie... always trying to catch the pro times. At 39 it gets a bit painful to keep up with the kids but I keep trying.

Good Lord - that's the best of the best stuff. You ain't no Noob! BTW - you can't say the word that rhymes with phonics on STR because it is only a semi-legal trail. Mods will eliminate it and curse you sternly.

What machine are you riding down these wonderful trails?

I've got a 2010 Specialized Enduro. I'll be out there again this morning. I didn't realize tell on iks wasn't a legal trail. It's so nice and heavily traveled.

    Welcome Mr Jones.

The rule of thumb is this. If the trail has a sign, it is legal. If the sign is missing or doesn't exist, it is considered illegal.

It kinda sucks, but the rangers have had signs pulled out, fake ones put in, signs altered and everything else under the sun.
They finally decided if it doesn't have a sign, you might get caught. Oh, and don't get caught on a weekend. It tends to be more severe. :)
