    You've picked the best place (Ahmanson Ranch) for a new rider. After you leave the parking lot take a left to go uphill. You will climb to Laskey Mesa where there's an easy loop. You also get a view of some mansions decorated in poor taste! :eek: If you're more skilled than an absolute beginner, about 3/4 around the loop (clockwise) look for a singletrack. The ST descends to meet the other main fireroad.

    The only down-side is the predicted high of 93 degrees.

    check the scv dirtbags group we usually ride every saturday in the mornings and someone is usually always riding during the week, usually by Castaic up Tapia Cyn,
    it's a fun ride nothing difficult, unless you want it then there is some.

    Going to Cheeseboro Agoura area this coming Sat. YAY! I really enjoyed Victory trailhead Friday. the sandy parts were tough. I'm also getting used to the back breaks making the back wheel sliding around on a downhill slowdown vs the front break working faster and no sliding. I'm enjoying the adjusting compared to street biking.
