    I am trying to get my wife to shuttle me to the top. If she does not I can take Stripes depending on his bike but that means I will be leaving my car there and I would have to be shuttled back up at the end of the day. I have a lowered RX-8 with 1-2 yakima raptors, not the best set up for this sort of thing.

    FYI, I am also going to Yucaipa afterwords to visit family so I can not carpool to Redlands.

    The riding in the snow doesn't matter too much, SART had a good canopy of trees over it for most of its length. The part that I was concerned with is getting there. In SoCal, if there is just a hint of snow on the ground CHP usually slaps chain controls on for most vehicles. Guess we will have to see what today and tonight brings

    Yes, the ride is rain or shine.

    I just got word that the HWY 38 is closed at Angelus Oaks however. We will have a backup plan (alternate route or routes) in place if and only if we are unable to get vehicles to the starting point.

    I spoke with a couple businesses in Angelus Oaks to see how the snow accumulation was. One said the CHP wants to close 38 at Mtn Home Village, which is right at the expected snow level.
