I've never been so amazed at the pure utter lack of knowledge that an entire store that caters to high-end gear would have. I walked in the other day, asked if they had any freeride bikes, after a long pause the man asked me what I meant, then told me they have full suspension bikes. He had almost no knowledge of the difference between a freeride, downhill, all mountian, or xc bike where just that they were all mountain bikes and some had more suspension travel. Was totally unknowledgable about any component of the Santa Cruz bike he showed me and said he would have to look in the manual. My friend went in the store a few days before me and asked the girl at the counter where the seat posts would be. She said she thinks they should have stuff like that here.:?: haha, I guess this explains whey I see so many old men cruising on the strand with full DH rigs without a trace of mud on them, salesman probably told them its a smooooth ride.
