I’m stoked to see STR is going up to Big Bear on Saturday. Great timing!! I’ll be up there for a bachelor party. The plan is to take the bachelor mountain biking for the first time, so if you see a tall guy and a few guys from England who look out of place, that’s us. I doubt we’ll make the 8 am meet up time, but I’m looking forward to seeing you all up there.

    Cheers,

put the 7" fork on the hardtail. only good things could happen  they'll see the hardtail and think XC bike, it'll be awesome.

but I say rock the toy though. hardtails are super fun up there. you're a good enough rider that you can pull it off too.

2 rings, single crown, 2.35 tires, and just under 39#.

The Le Toy is fun and with the 7" fork only weighs 28# so it will fly. I would just like to bring the Banshee. I will probably just bring both.

    and some pics...

It is shaping up nicely. I heard yesterday from Chuck that there was a group heading to Summit. I'm jealous.. I will I could go. My car is bust right now, my son doesn't have a bike right now and it's just bad timing I guess.

I'll keep an eye out for the next trip up. :bang:

    Have fun you guys....

It looks like I am out for this trip. Works getting in the way of my riding career, as usual. Hopefully we can get another one together soon.

Have a good time everyone and I look forward to seeing the pics.....

Hey i just found out i dont have to coach tomorrow so me and dad are thinking of coming up. He isnt the best or the fastest by any means, but he likes to ride and wants to come up if we wont slow the group down.

So my question is: what is the skill level for the group ride? Noobies welcome? THANKS!

Since I am a beginner, I'll be with the slow group. ;) I can assure you that the group I'll be riding with will stop many times for regroups. I'll be wearing the Saint jersey on a red bike, for those who don't know me. My wife will be on a matching red bike.

So me and pops just talked about it and WE ARE COMING BABY!!!! Super pumped!!! But we are probably gonna be a lil later then the 830 rally. I had a super early and long sh!ty day at work today and need to try and catch up a lil on sleep. So we will probably be there around 9ish. But we will try and catch up. If someone would PM me their cell number and keep their phone on them then we can try and figure out where you guys are. Thanks for the encouragement. He is super siked to try out his Pitch at BB:bang:
