Not familiar with these trails- if I come, which should I bring. Hardtail XC bike or IH Sunday?

Too much pedaling for the DH bike, but HT's not gonna be as fun as a full suspension AM bike!

    Looking forward to the party!

Ill be riding my bike setup as is by me for the night ride.. afterwards Drake will be working on my fork. I be sure to give a RR of a before and after of the fork. From my brief conversation with Drake, he knows his suspension inside and out. I cant wait to get it worked on.

this is the bike and fork he will be working on. 08 fox 36 talas rc2

flowing 11-mile DH mostly single track with some rocks here and there. Definitely some pedaling involved so bring something you can pedal.

I have a blast riding this trail on my HT(Yeti-DJ). A XC bike will be fun, but can be may be a little sketchy when the trail gets steeper/tighter...however people do it all the time.

Of the two I'd pick the IH-Sunday, if it were me...:-k

I'll be by Monday to be one of your first customers. Be safe on that night ride, the cats are out there, leave no one behind under any circumstances.

Took a detour from my Saturday morning ride to meet Drake . Talked about mods to my suspension . Going to have him put new lowers on my Fox F 120's , mod the air piston , and service the shock .

Made the 120 mile pilgrimage down to Drake's today and met the man behind the name. Nice set up and easy access in and out.

Nicest guy you could ever want to meet and tells like it is.

Scored a nice pair of Marzocchi gloves for the wife and I as well!

Thank you Drake for giving me some of your valuable time and educating me on my forks. Now know what to do next and why.

    Be seeing ya soon.

A really great day at Drake's new shop. I got to meet some old friends and hang with some really cool new ones. The shop is very clean and looks great and a fun bike-nerd day was had by all, though hanging out with all the people with high end bikes can get one to thinking very expensive thoughts.
Dogs, soda and beer were flowing and I had the pleasure of meeting a great guy (Bobby) from Marzzochi too.
However, I did bail on the night ride and crashed out as soon as I got home. I hear it ended pretty late:). To all the harder core souls that didn't bail, I take my hat off to you all, as that was a true night ride. I expect a ride report before long.
Cheers for a great time, Drake and friends..
