I have been doing it for over a year now only now I am licensed and insured and trade marked.

Most of the work I do is for existing customers and some of the newer customers are from here or the races.

I was doing the same work in 1990.
    Before I got into telecommunications.

I send more people to bike shops then they could ever send to me. I always have.

I don't have stock in large parts.

Just cable, housing, chains, fork and shock rebuild parts.

I can order parts but the defeats the purpose of quick service .

Many people or most have all the parts saved up but they want the bike built and they don't want to wait 2 days - 2 weeks.

Many come to me because they know I will work on the bike as if it where my own.

Well I better get back to work.

Read it twice and it did not answer my question. Yes I am old and have old school values but this seems like a conflict of interest. If I owned Rock and Road and you worked for me and also worked for yourself or someone else doing the same job on the outside. I would ask you to figure out where your loyalties where and ask you to make a choice.

All of this aside I do wish you luck and hope your venture is successful enough that you can quit you R&R job.

I am rnr 3-4 days a week . That is completely unconnected. I am in the back getting things done the same way I would always do. I have to make sure everything is perfect as usual because it’s my name on the line as always and it makes no difference where I work. Quality is #1

I do the same work for the same people on location every time. If that was the type of work they where doing I would say yes it would be a conflict of interest.

They do not have a Race Medic that is part of what the Bike doctors is about. I am on location ready to work on anything.

But because the people who rely on my services and have long before rnr . They are now only getting better service it does not interrupt other shops. I still sent people to the shops that have the parts in stock and that has nothing to do with the name of the shop.

    I hope that helps.

I am loyal to the industry and anyone who knows me knows that.

    Suspension work...

Hi Jason, just curious would you be able to offer things like the "works" treatment like Marz does. Not sure exactly what they do but i was told they do things like polish the internals and what not. Also, for things like oil changes do you require people to provide seals or will you be stocking those?

I can order them or you can provide them either way. I will be stocking Fox and Rock Shox seals and rebuild kits.

I do full overhauls on most everything on the bike. That includes cleaning drive train parts in the ultrasonic cleaner and polishing the internals. I also go over the Bearing and bushings on suspension bikes and replace them on a suspension frame overhauls.
That is a great time to think about getting your bike powder coated.

Give me a call or a text if you need anything done.

    Soon my friend soon. ;)

I will have shirts and stickers also.
My goal with the shirts is to make them so cool that you will want to wear then just because you like them. The logo will be cool. I will add other sponsors to the shirt also on the second batch.

I received questions about the ultrasonic cleaner.
If you want a sample of how it works bring over something and I can show you for free. It makes things like new.

I have a $60 min and a 35 mile range. More work less driving.

On request I can do longer range but that would be for a complete over haul and or multiple bikes and some other special occasions. For example 2 or more customers in the area that need service etc .

$10 to install training wheels. Sounds reasonable.

Congrats on the new site - it looks good. When I get more cash I'll have to bring a bike up your way to get the Reba rebuilt and maybe see how that fancy smancy ulta-sonic cleaning works.
