Thanks for the advice I'll definetly try to be more alert on that last section next time around that's for sure. You know there might have been a dip now that I think about it. Oh well bandages are off today and I thinkhave some nice scars to show off to my wife. Although my right side rib cage still aches.

Well well well the infamous Ladera Dave. How's it going? Maybe if I would have hitup Telonics with you and the Jakester last Sat I would have been ready to rip the Luge. :) Hey thanks for the ensuring it's not over for me. I'm going straight home and asking my wife for a Nomad. Haha. Looking forward to riding with you after rehab.

Luge is one of the many trails I have gone off of. Luge was a night ride and I just put a outside foot down to stop for the person in front of me and there was no trail there. I remember I keep rolling until I figured out I better grab something to stop me. I am always thankful to take a tumble off a trail that has brush unless it is Poison Oak then I would rather take the cuts and scraps then getting that evil rash. Very disorienting, glad I had a helmet light to figure out what direction the trail was at besides uphill. Bike stayed in the trail right where I left it.

I usually don't ride at nite for the main reason I'll probably eatit. That sensation you get while rolling downhill is unforgetable you pretty much are helpless until that moment you realize you should grab a hold of something to break your fall. I'm glad you were ok as well.

Random question... were you wearing Troy Lee Ace Shorts.. the kind with thigh vents? I had a totally weird out of the blue crash where my thumb shifter paddle got caught in the thigh vents just as I launched a rock. Yard sale.
