I was talking to Bret yesterday about where to a file of some trails on Google Earth, but he wasn't sure. I spent a little bit looking for some on the web and I couldn't find it either. I don't know if anyone uses Google Earth, but its pretty cool and free. I have like 25 So Cal dirtbike riding areas plotted on it. You can save the file and just load in all the points. I went through the spots listed on the trail page from the site and saved the ones I could find. Here's what it looks like. and zoomed in on one area. You can download google earth for free from http://earth.google.com/ I have included the file for the trails so you don't have to enter them all in yourself. I am sure some has to have one with more, but this is all I have. Edit. It would not let me attach the file because of the extension. anyone have any ideas?
Crap, doesnt run on linux. (even though google runs its web servers in linux ](*,) ). Maybe I'll download it on my laptop later.
George, did you see my PM to you about your wheels? Rob had a cool sattelite link to a map, maybe he'll post it.

i never knew you could do that with google earth....i would just always find my way to the trail head by following the roads to drive on to get there and then i would follow the trail to have somewhat of an idea
Here is the 14+ mile ride Greg and I did on Sat at Santiago Oaks. I dumped the data from my GPS to Google Earth.
