Now that's frickin' funny. The funniest is when that guy tried nonchalantly to use his desktop while the owner was fetching some coffee. Good stuff!

Can anyone recommend a decent website or retail store that carries decent Info Sec books? I typically use bookpool.com but they are slow and murder on shipping if you want it inside of one week.

    Fractals

I had have a thing for fractals & chaos theory ever since I read an article on it years ago.
The interviewee explained that the fractal math he was studying could be used to predict seemingly random events.
Interviewer: 'If I understand you right, you're saying that you could potentially predict the lottery?'
Interviewee (math geek): 'Not potentially, I can.'
Interviewer: 'Then why don't you? You'd be rich.'
Interviewee: 'Because when I perfect this, I'll be richer.'

(FWIW, fractals are geometric shapes considered to be infinitely complex, no matter how far you zoom in. They help to define natural objects like tree branching, etc. You can see them in M.C. Escher's work)

So anyway, I went to the farmers market on Sunday and came across Romanesco cauliflower:

    Developers! Developers! Developers! Developers! WHOOAAA!

If you're poor and act like that you get sent to the funny farm. When you're super rich and you act like that you're Steve Ballmer.
