I'm just stoked when people go out and ride their bikes and don't really care what they wear.
I built a fixie with a 1972 Schwinn that a friend gave me and rode it all week at the beach last week and no, I did not wear my sisters clothes:lol:

I would like to get a nice track frame but just don't have to money plus it is a commuter so I don't want it to look to nice.

"fixie" and "fixed gear" are two different terms used for different kinds of people. I ride a fixed gear, not a track bike or an old "conversion", for the simplicity and the workout involved in pwning roadies.

    Fixe(e)d it for you.

I'm so sad now. I can't race or ride a real bike for many weeks. I, I, just want to cry all the time. I've got a old Diamondback HT frame. Do you think I should grind the cable-stops and brake-bosses off of it, rattle-can it, put a few expensive XTR/X-0 components on it? Will that make me feel better?

    :p :D :p :D

Lance is SO cool, he'll even take a ride with these poor, underprivileged, inner-city cyclists. Who do you suppose fronted the airfare, and rented them the coach?
