I'm sooo excited for G this is truly a special moment in his life!! Several of us make Fontana a weekly thing and he quickly became a favorite and a real friend. We'll keep everyone updated on his progress still have a few things up our sleeves :) . Thanks very much to the donor it means tons to so many people and will not be forgotton.
    You all rock!!!

We'll set a day for next week so those who couldn't make it can see the bike and sign a helmet for him. I'll be there tomorrow with another friend if you can come. (unless we go to the demo)
    Thanks from the heart.

You folks just changed that kid's life. Just think if this is the start of a life long obsession that ends up being a carreer for him? You never know. By the look of the steez he is bringing.........I'd say the chances are quite big!

yeah its like crack the first hit is free and well you know the rest...

Seriously awosme for him. When we were riding he talked about how he could finally ride the 3rd burm without being scarred and having real brakes. The kid does noting but school and ride accoridng to his parents and could be the next big thing. Other then that he will always have great memories of hanging out and riding his bike the same kind of memories I have and everyone should.

I do think the bike will make G a better person for many reasons. One will hopefully be the fact that a community came together and wanted to help the kid out. And someone stepped up and bought a bike for him. I explained it to G that we wanted to help him out several times. So hopefully he could take what I said with him- and like what a friend of mine said, he will look back on this one day when someone else is in need of a real bike and he decides he wants to give back to the community as well.

Good times were had, G did look like he was going to cry the whole time. And his family was very thankful for the kindness. I plan to put on another ride later on where we can all roll up to the 4X track and "check up
" on G. Hopefully by then we can have a front brake, new lock on grips, and a signed helmet for him.

Thank you to all that helped, wanted to help, and will help.

I know I know. I am a softy for dogs. I'd probably be rocking that collar too with flowers and stuff if I had the dog. I have a bunch of chinchillas because my damn friends can't take care of even themselves. I call them my college budget dogs. How limp wrist is that? Hehehe.

    Has anyone seen "G" lately?
    Has he been riding?
Has he grown into the bike?
Any pics of him flying over the finish line jump?

Picture of *G* on the old bike. His VERY Old bike...
