    Come writers and critics
    Who prophesize with your pen
    And keep your eyes wide
    The chance won't come again
    And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
    And there's no tellin' who
    That it's namin'
    For the loser now
    Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'.

I think he rode those trails really well. Much better than I did..much better skills than me for sure. I think when we ride we will make mistakes at times and i think the OP is aware of it now. I know im learning every time i go out and have been lucky enough to have ridden with really cool and helpful people..teaching me about trail etiquette and what not. On my Santiago Oaks ride, we were climbing and some older gentleman was coming down and actually yelled at fueledbyex8 saying "HeadsUp" instead of giving us the right of way. My first reaction was "what an ass" but the more i thought of it, the more i realized that MTBing is different for all of us..some are there for the descents, some for fitness, some just to hang with friends, some just to have a good time. It was clear to me the OP was just having a good time, although may not have been the best choices in etiquette, making him aware is all we can do and hopefully he learns from it. We all hate to have something like awesome trails get taken away from us and that is understandable, but i think, like me, we continue to learn and im grateful that the members here have been patient enough to teach me the ins and outs. With that being said, see you guys on the trails in a few days when they are all dried and PERFECT to ride on!

I'm pretty impressed by her braking skills. I doubt I could stop myself quite that quickly safely and in control. She just goes from 7mph to zero in a skidding stop. Until that a-hole speared her and nearly shattered her femur

I agree. I only Strava well know spots which are readily available to any biker. I have ridden of the beaten spots and never record anything in respect to locals and nature alike.
