Fun times perusing others bike stuff,
chatting & hanging with the STR homies - some I haven't seen in a long time,
    riding the loop with friends,
fun conversation beer and grub at Roscoe's,
    fun shopping trip to FB

...Now that is a good day!

Just so you know, I had a hell of a time sealing up that Weirwolf tire with the take-off wheelset I bought. I took it into Rock and Road and they had to resort to extreme measures just to get it to seal. The Nevegal, on the other hand, seals up very easily. It could just be a combination of the tire and the wheelset I had, so you might have an easier time with it.

We sold $40 w of components - was really hoping to sell the bike frames so Ray could justify buying a new SS for himself ... oh well, eBay here we come.

So nice to meet: singlespeedrider, skidrow, monstertiki AND marshal!! Marshal, you're absolutely infectious - keep riding buddy, it gets easier, I promise!

So, Did you find everything you needed? If not, what were the things you didn't get? (Maybe others found them first...?)

Ah, shucks, Rox... Thank you for your nice words!! It was GREAT to meet you AND all the other cool and friendly people - I enjoyed putting faces to those names that I see on STR. You ALL made me feel very welcome with your friendliness, helpfulness and generousity with friendship, time, info, etc... Was much fun to ride part of the loop with you and the small group that assembled - I had more fun than you probably know! I look forward to the next opportunity to ride w/you!

It was a great day for me! Was great to meet you, Revalimage! I had an amazing time!
First, the cake you brought was awesome! Thanks for putting up with me on my attempt at the Loop! Loved having lunch with our Loop Group, at Roscoe's! (After ward, I went to FB for the first time ever - didn't know you went there, too...

Got a nice Thompson seat post for $40 (I get it now Dino!!!), and a bike from Dave...which Julie's son Blake decided it was better off with him...so I got a seat post. Post ride was fun!

Note: when someone ask what the logo is on the butt of the riding pants, apparently "LG" stands for Louis Garneau...not LARGE! Who knew?!

Andre is super generous. He announces everything is free. Brake set and other stuff gone in seconds. All I could grab were some azonic stickers, which I later gave away.

I apologize, I didn't mean to start something. I was under the impression that we go there to get rid of our extra stuff to make room for more with little or no profit.

I admire the guy selling his tires which still have about 90+++ thread for $5@ or 3 for $10. That's the way to go.

The guy who was selling tubeless tires for $5 (with 90% tread remaining) goes by the name of Sailor Ripley... Everything he sold (carbon cranks, forks, wheelsets etc.) was well BELOW the price I would have asked. He (pretty much) wanted the items to find good homes.

A few hours into the event, WE noticed the guy two spaces down had chosen to resell quite a few of the items Eddie had sold him a few hours earlier. Dirty move if you ask me.
