    Well, tonight I had the most special Loop to date.

    Work called on Sunday & I missed the Turnball ride so I took liberty to sneak in a ride before the four days of rain.

    I hit the Loop just after dark. The trail was 99% dry. The moon backlit the clouds over Chino Hills. The falling sun left a few rosy clouds over the Pacific. Every dip in the trail was a cool breeze across my face.

    The BEST part - not a single biker, hiker, horsey on the ENTIRE Loop. There weren't even any tweakers up by the chain link fence.

    I've ridden @ 6am in the summer and had twenty people cross my path. Tonight was special. Except for the bunnies at the golf course, the Loop was mine.

    Oh well, rain, rain go away, come back..........

    Yep, last night was FANTASTIC for riding. Full moon and a bit of cloud cover makes for some great bright riding. It's pouring in Seal Beach right now-I guess no loop this week.:mad:

    Cool - see you then Gene. You still heading back to the Bay area? I used to live in Walnut Creek in the East Bay for 5 years before I moved back down here. Mount Diablo was very close by but I never got around to riding there. I shoulda joined a riding group then - now that I see the benefits....peer pressure but in a good way. Donny

    It's been socked in all evening here in fullerton...guess instead of riding it'll just be doing some lifting tomorrow night - lots of 16oz curls!:beer:
