Too bad those Kali Avatars don't come in extra large sizes. Kind of wish I got it after trying it on, now that I see why it cost more than the one I bought instead, reading that link that TWC posted.

If you ride gnarly enough, no shame in using the FF for XC as well. Even on an XC trail, you still can go at speeds faster than your body can break your fall, to prevent your face from being smashed/scarred and/or losing teeth. Think of the dental bills ($$$$ thousands). Hell, all the stories about this trail and a courthouse area in a city, with a name that rhymes with Lullerton, makes me think that some people would benefit from wearing one while riding there.

Oh ya, don't watch something called MTV Scarred. Especially not the bike related eps... also, don't read how the invincible Aaron Gwin had a careless accident, at a trailhead no less... you'd be may end up suiting up with more protection for your rides or not riding at all and opting to stay home. I know I'm sitting here with a nice scar on the inside of the ball of my foot, cause I was foolish enough to step out my house wearing flip flops, to go for a quick and easy ride (I actually did the loop at a faster pace, to make it quicker).

I'm just thinking of YOUR safety, that looks like a 22mm fork, I bet the shock doesn't even have a spring. You have the gear, now get the bike. Remember, N+1!
