I would like to thank the guys that carried my friend out of cactus today after she went down, she ended up dislocating her ankle and broke her tibia and fibia. Not sure who these guys were but really thank them for there kindness, ironic it happened today, we ride it everyday after work. Thankful there were so many people in there to help carry her out to the ranger so she could be transported to the hospital. Big thanks to all or if you know the men that helped out people pass on my deepest appreciation for there help.:)

Ditto that on the expierence of coming back after a fall, i use blaze thru Whiting but now its slow and easy...get well soon to all the injured.
I got started after the masses and i saw atleast 2 injured right at the first downhill coming back for first aid.
on a happy note, it was fun and free and the shaved ice was yummy!

Thank you everyone for the healing vibes and blessings, she was a trooper, like I said we do the ride and cactus daily, I let her go in from of me so she wouldn't be freaked out by the other riders but she said she heard people in back of her and she got scared, she was going slow enough, still don't know how she did so much damage, thought she would wipe herself off and jump back on the bike. I am thankful it wasn't worse.

Definitely miss her now I realize how easy you can get hurt, thank God there were a lot of people around this time, normally when we ride through there it is pretty empty. Sad it happened but very grateful for the amazing men that helped us. No more riding alone for me. Thank you again everyone for the healing vibes, I have passed on to her and she was thrilled, she is have surgery Tuesday to put pins and plates in her leg, please keep her in your prayers and thoughts for a full recovery.:)

Best of luck in her recovery. I had a similar surgery 22 years ago playing baseball. Key to bouncing back for her is to start physical therapy ASAP. Make it a challenge for her to come back soon and be amazed at the progress week by week.
