I am going to do 2 days, one in San Diego, one in Orange county area.. The 1st one will be be on the Nov. 8th in the OC . I am doing a list of attendees, i am going to keep this down to 40 riders. Pm me for time and place as we dont want 200 people showing and without the ability to cater to such a crowd. I want this to be a come and learn, come and meet new people, come and get free stuff, come and win free stuff, and a come and ride day.I have made a few calls with fellow companies and indeed such came through with some swag.Sram, 661, ISO and a few shops are gonna put on a cool day of meeting new people, and winnig free stuff for showing up.I am gonna be offering free set ups on suspension, free nitrogen filling, free adjustments, free wheel truing, small parts at cost( fork seals, cables, housing, grips, some bars, pedals), the shops I work with are as well gonna offer similar things. All in all I think this will be a fun and rewarding day,I will supply refreshments as well as carne asada tacos( I have a mean recipe). Come and have fun and met new people. Thanks for reading.PM me, email, or call if you want to attend. Everybody who shows up gets something.

UPDATED: Niterider will not be able to join due to a commitment. But nightride stands for those having lights.661 will not be there but they have donated some goodies as did Sram and ISO.Thanks for the contacts.

Fullerton would be an excellent spot to host such an event, just look and see how many people are riding there on the weekends. This is clearly evident with the local Sunday morning ride. Not to mention, this is going to be a selling point for your sponsors, they'll definitely see a lot of traffic. Additionally, Fullerton is ride for everyone, noobs get the convience of asking local regular riders, and the regulars get the convience of riding with a set a new faces. IMO it's a WIN WIN for everyone...

There was an Intense demo last year at San Juan. They had a shuttle bringing people to the top. It was a great time, but I am sure it is not cheap to set up.

That way you could shuttle up and take the bikes down the 10 mile stretch, or go uphill and check out the XC type bikes.

I would love to check this out. What about Sycamore Canyon in Riverside. I'm local, but that is not the reason I vote Sycamore. It has a great mix of rocky chunk, some drops and flowy single track. Just a thought :?:

    Cheers,
    Andy
