Fox 40s and Boxxers will be upgradeable to 27.5

    Woot woot! All older Fox 40s and Boxxers will be upgradeable to 27.5 with the addition of only new lowers, dampers can be retained.

    I personally am elated by this as I have both, and that I don't have to buy a new fork if I upgrade. That said, it's still going to be a 400 buck upgrade to new lowers :(

    I think most people who can afford to upgrade can afford to simply purchase a new 27.5 fork. Hahaha

    I get it. But being able to afford and having to buy are two different things. Spending 1500 for a new Fox 40 when all that is required is 370 bucks for new lowers isn't for me. I like riding stuff and using them until their destroyed. New stuff meh. Breaking stuff coz you ride too much, yes :)

    The difference between a 27.5 and 26 boxxer, besides the charger damper is below...drop outs. Selling a Avyed Boxxer at a loss would be a shame :(
