    Vdub white bell ?

I'm actually reading this you know?

Thanks for the vote of confidence, though. It'd be greatly appreciated if any existed.

Good thing I slipped a pedal and almost crashed on the wall, otherwise it might not be so much fun for you, huh?

Congrats to all that raced, you guys kick a$$!

We had a great time out there watching you everyone fly by. Some great riding and some good crashes too! Photos were taken by Slowspokes, I took mostly videos which I'll post when I get home.....if they fit on youtube. We've got tons of photos of other riders also. PM me with your plate number and I'll look to see if I have it.

LOL! All my usual humour aside you did great Allison, looked very smooth through the section where Andy and i were camped out. '08 winter series should be a great battle with you and Sarah. I recon we should have a sweepstake on the winner of the series!

Unless she's planning on racing XC also, I don't think it's really a fair fight. She spent much more time on the course than I did, and wasn't exhausted and sore to begin with.

Awesome job to everyone that raced on sat and sunday and i had a blast at my first DH race...thanks to all of the STR peeps (sprockethead, Kieth, Allison, Mechman and a few others-im terrible with names #-o)who made me feel at home and it was my pleasure to join the STR peanut gallery at the lower rock section. :bang:

Great pix and cant wait until the next one (maybe i can get my a** out of bed a bit earlier next time and get there in time to hang out with the STR peeps before the race)

 .......Well Sarah rode her 41lb rig up the hill 5 times over the weekend using at a minimum 36:24 ratio :p. She only shuttled once with Paulina. Thats 2k ft of climbing on a 40lb rig right there. Also your practise was in more relevant conditions as it had changed so much from Saturday morning to the afternoon.......Plus I noticed that due to a planetary alignment gravity was slightly stronger on the first 30seconds of your run which must have saved you a good 10seconds ;)
Bottom line is that you're itching for a rematch. I'll bring the chairs and beer - roll on January. :drunk:

I'll put a GPS on your bike and hers next time and we can compare data traces to see who's faster where if you like? Or are you chicken?!;)

Whatever, Keith. I'm not turning this into a stupid competition. If you don't think your johnson is big enough, go measure it against someone else's.

    I'm over this.

FWIW, I didn't see anyone riding up the hill. Lots of pushing. Including Sarah.

    question for BFloFoxRider

Hey BFloFoxRider.....I think you were right behind me in the line up. I was the guy in the sleevless "Path" jersey on a black 5 Spot. Is that right (was that you?)?? I was trying to figure out my approximate time if I hadn't gotten off course (and also hiked over crash victim, hey, she told me too! :) I think my time would have been close to yours. You had a smokin' time for beginner, looks like your cut out to race, congratulations!!

(that was a fun weekend of racing!!)

BFlo was wearing orange/blue on Saturday (I'm guessing you are talking about Super D?). He's fast when he's racing XC/Super D! Boy needs to stick to climbing mountains :D

I agree. Racing XC and then doing DH is so hard. You did a great job Allison. You've gotten so much faster and it's awesome to see. I think you could race pro through the winter series.
