That first shot of you on the berm Todd is sweet. You need to get that blown up and put on the wall! I need to get out there and play a bit before the next race! I can't believe how green all of the pictures are. It doesn't even look like Fontucky! It's such a great time to ride right now (when its not raining) as everything just looks awesome!

#-o#-o#-o thats what that kid tried to do to me my first race..
then i said i hoped he crashes since he deserves it for trying to race dirty in 4x... well he ate Royal Shiattt and i think had a concussion or at least knocked himself really good... some guy had to drag him off the course #-o8-[

HAHAHAHAHAHA! What a faker. That dude wasn't tired all day.

That guy in third....dude...he didn't make his motos and they still let him race. [-([-X

I'm pretty upset about that. If you miss your moto, homie, you're out. You don't get to hold back and wait for another moto in your class.

Brandon, the Sport class is getting ugly. This weekend, we had a couple more expert level BMXers in the final. From my perspective, the Sport class has been pretty even tempered, but with some of these new guys in the class, it's become very aggressive with lots of hard body contact. In the final alone, I was involved in three "collisions." It's no longer friendly racing - if you want to win, anyway. Also, it looks like the beginner class is also starting to get pretty hardcore and fast, too. Although there is no doubt that you have skills, I'd suggest honing them in the beginner class for a couple more races.

By the way, the kid who got third in the sport class is brothers with the guy who got first in expert. I believe they're both regulars out at Orange. Their dad does the staging at Orange and sometimes races in the beginner class.

Oh, I think it was the 18 and under men beginner class that I saw was really fast.

Wow the beginner men 35-44 is getting really fast. 1st place was 37 minutes!!!! Whew, I would've been beaten by nearly 20+ minutes. Wow, well it at least gives me something to work towards this summer.

When you get days off let me know... granted i cang et a ride we can train together if you want..
i have a trail up the street from my house... and we could turn it into a ~15 mile loop with only about ~1250 ft of climbing which is about the same as fontana.. oh yea i forgot.. the trail we connect to is like 15 minutes of doubletrack ish type stuff... or if you've ever ridden marshall you'd know what i was talking about :bang:

I stand corrected. Official XC results have me at 45:20, not sub-43 (don't know why i was almost a quarter-minute off JSims since I was literally right on his back wheel, but whatever). I think the beginner results at the race site had us all scratching our heads a bit. Anyway, was a great day. Looking forward to the next one.

A beginner with a 37 minute lap either cut the course, or isn't a beginner.

My only faking is looking like I'm not tired! I'd have been even more exhausted if Fred didn't help push my bike to the top of the hill (granted, it's only 75 or so feet). Those races come right after each other way too quickly!

    Thanks again Fred!

Hey yall... Here are a few pictures of todays festivities. My best friend came in from out of town and brought his Son. He decided he wanted to race, so I reworked my P.1 for him and he did pretty well. 3rd place! Christian was fighting a fever and chest cold along with the mud, but he still wanted to race...:bang:
