I'm considering doing all 3. But I seriously have ridden the xc bike only once in the last 3 weeks, and it really hurt.:(

Check out earlier posts, directions and times of people meeting. Looks like most of us are early risers, hope to meet you out there.

After reading all this, I'm not sure if I'd remember what any of you look like! I remember a red civic, a black 661 helmet, and a big chevy. Should I carry a cheat sheet?

BTW, how many people show up for these practices, and how many show up to race?

Check out results from the last race...it'll give you a good idea how many in each category.
You'll see Winter Series 1st Race
    Click on "Down-Hill" underneath there.
    See ya there Sunday.
Be there with my sis watching friends and family racing. (I believe we'll be seeing a special race appearance by the DIRTY)
Just got a Canon SD 800 so maybe I can get some clear shots this time!!:-k
I'll have a few Castles waiting when y'all get done. Good luck to everyone!!

Are all of the courses the same for the different skill levels?

Sharky, as an incentive, can you write in chalk somewhere along the wall "Beer near"?

They are the same. (In the past they have had different courses for beg/sport and exp/pro.)

Thanks for the info. I wasn't able to find that link before. I kept clicking on 2007, since it looked similar to 2006 results.

It was interesting to compare the times between different ages and skill levels. It made me really wonder if there were different courses. For example, the guy who won the class I would race got about 3:42, compared to sport (3:19) and expert (3:09). Yeah, I'd be in one of the older beginner classes. Wow, those young kids...

I was talking to Donny, the guy who puts on the races, at the last race, he told me he would really like to have split courses all year. Basically they start at the same start, go for maybe 30 seconds, pro's and experts go one way, sports and begs. go another. The course then meets up again, that is where you have to be really careful in practice, people merging without looking, but it's not like there's a lot of trees blocking your view, just keep it in mind if there is a split course. Hope to meet you out there.

Wow...so many people! So many descriptions! And I have such a bad memory! Anyhow, I will be wearing the same red FMF jersey as in the pics from last Sunday, and I will be riding a metallic silver VPX with DeeMax wheels with yellow hubs. Please come up and say hello!
