    I agree, but regretably that is not the case with all the people we ride with. Many times I see people not doing bike maintance until they get to the trailhead.

    I'd go w/ the Hayes 9's for $150 and if you want you can add an adapter to make the front 185mm(7") and leave the 160mm (6") on the rear

    I just saw Hayes 9's on Blue Sky for $75 a wheel. So you don't feel cheated, I'll sell mine to you for $125--shipped.

    You'd be saving $25 plus shipping. Let me know if you want them. Mine are brand new as well. Never been used.

    They have carbon brakes on Moto GP bikes too. I would love to see what they felt like on a mountain bike. (or a moto GP bike for that matter).
