so, back to fat bike goodness. Cinco De Mayo; Blackstar style. I ditched the rack and trunk for this ride, just to see if I'd notice the weight difference. Needless to say, the first thing I did when I got home was put my rack back on.
Any of you fatbike owners ever take your bikes to glamis or dumont? Seems like shuttle runs on a slow weekend down olds or comphill would be cool.
Thanks for the heads up on this video, SQUIRRE! I want to go to there.
http://www.socaltrailriders.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=6437 Anyone need a Salsa rear rack for their Mukluk?
who's up for a little night ride on Blackstar on the 21st? If there's interest, I'll post up a ride. Of course, all bikes are welcome; the more the merrier, but it sure would be fun to get the fatbikers together.
I only see one problem. I would need to start in the morning so you guys don't have to wait for me all night! I may be in for this.
picking up a little trash on the trail.......next pic of my bike will be on a new set of wheels; dropped off the rims and hubs at the Path Live Oak today. I may be rolling the new hoops by the weekend.
Hey look! I still ride mountain bikes. Finally got out on the fatty after weeks of grinding away at work
That's a beautiful picture. I have yet to ride on a beach; I can only imagine how fun it would be. Awesome to see you got out!
Worked moved me to Huntington Beach so I will be riding the beach a lot. Let me tell you though, fighting the headwind on sand is a nightmare. Coming back the other way however, my fat body acts like a sail! I may or may not have known about this a couple of weeks ago.... SCFBBG is materializing!
Just saw this recall on Surly Pug chromoly forks: http://www.cpsc.gov/en/Recalls/2013/Surly-Bikes-Recalls-Bicycle-Forks/ Going to check mine after work.
