And you thought YOU were fast down velocity at Mammoth?

    Check this guy out.

I especially like how he airs the first bridge "roller" and lands like 12' to flat.

Great vid. If you really think about it, he wasn't doing the whole course that fast. Do you realize how many cameras they would of had to of used to get all the shots? They would shoot a section, stop move the camera and then continue from the next spot.

I talked with him too. If anyone ever tells you need a lightweight DH bike to be fast they are lying. That kid is tiny and runs Michelin DH32s front and back. His bike is at least 45 lbs.

    dayummmm.....

I wonder what kind of time he pulls down that. I know steve and I hit a 4:00 fairly easily, and I think Steve said his record was 3:45 or so. that guy is probably easily in the low 3:00's :-k

oh, and I SO want to send that double by the first drop now. that looked fun :)

he is aproximately 5.368 times faster than me. Because he'll get in at least 4 pedals before I get one in.

It is pretty cool to see a video like this on a trail that I know very well. Most of the clips you see are on some unfamiliar trail many miles away. You have no idea what it looks like in person. I have ridden this trail many, many times and know what lines I ride. It is great to see how this dude runs these super fast lines and see what he is actually doing. Thanks for posting this.:bang:

Great video! I can't imagine the work that went into shooting all of those short segments and piecing it all together. Oh yeah, the riding is stellar too.

Hey guys my name is Brian Enciso. I was the rider in this vid. I am glad to hear that you all enjoyed it. Thought I'd answer some questions for you as well.
The bike is a giant glory with michy dh32son it. At the time of filming it weighed in at 47lbs.
I am a fairly small rider(5'6'' and 130lbs at time of shoot) and in a race run I peddle a little more than what you see.
It was about 140 shots to make the whole video. A lot of time and empty bank accounts went into it.
Average times(I use a computer to track) are 2:04 but my PR is 1:58. I have never been so winded in my life.
I really appreciate everyones positive feedback and we plan on doing more of these films in the next season.
    -Brian
Ps To those who met me I hope I was pleasant. I was under a bit of stress during the filming of this and may have not been the most pleasant person.
