So.... Many of you were there today/yesterday now at woodward, and saw me mad smash myself into the ground rather violently. Well its near one am, and I just got back from the Hospital.

So here is the verdict as of now.

4 cracked ribs, fractured sternum, lots of bruises......And one effed up Knee. Lots of xrays, chest, back, spine, knee, and a double check on the wrists.

So the big worry is the knee, no fractures in the knee, but I am now off work, waiting for an MRI to see how much damage I did with my little smash up.

Gotta say, its a strange feeling having a half dozen people stop you from getting up, and forcing you to lay down, and not being allowed to move.

So here is the crash, went off that last kicker hot, and too far back, bucked super hard, thought I was going to land on my head, pulled back as hard as I could, still very nose heavy, drove the front wheel into the ground, bottomed out, washed out, took the bars to the chest, bike to the knee with me on top, and one hell of an impact into the ground followed by a gnarly tumble...

Andy, I know you have a pre impact Pic..... Help a Brother out

Ohh damm I had no idea. Was that on the second run? I could have swore I heard your name for the second runs.

That last kicker was kinda dangerous. A number of people crashed on it. It was so bad they moved the timing table after first run. I saw one pretty bad crash where the guy tumbled with his bike over the line. I heard just before me someone crashed into the table.

Dude just heal up and yeah crutches would really suck with bad ribs.

If you bad knee is same side of body as the bad ribs you could try using on crutch might be less painful yet still helpful. You use the crutch on your good knee side and move the crutch forward and then step forward with bad leg then support yourself with crutch and move you good leg forward.

I heard you hit that jump so fast and hard you literally landed and an other area code.

Healing Vibes man, Rib injuries are the worst, here's a little advise:

    1. Don't laugh
    2. Don't cough
    3. Don't sneeze
    4. Don't snap your radish for at least for a week or more.
