This freekin cold moved down from my sinuses to my chest. I can't breath just sitting here....FOCK!

I weighed myself this morning and I lost 8 freekin pounds riding with that madman STJunkie.

Thanks for the ride today Sauce and all those that showed up. 11 of us started the ride and a few dropped off through the ride. Did Rattlesnake and Old Emerald, maybe 15 miles and maybe 2000+ climbing.

Group picture at the top of I Think I Can. After dropping down Old Emerald some of us rode the lenght of Emerald Canyon...I enjoy that section of the Park a lot. On the way down Emerald Canyon there was a skunk in the trail...dead with obvoius tire marks accross it's head....well what used to be it's head. Now I do not know if it was run over before or after it's demise. Before you ask...Yes...I did remembered my Steven Jackson Training and hunked it! My attempts to get to pictures of other STR's members brave enough to hunk it failed....hence no action shots.

In the past Shannon has given me grieve about taking pictures of Rattlesnakes... I think this picture out does that one.

Going down that section from the bottom of Old Emerald (Trail 13) to the gate at the tennis courts is fast. Check it out this winter after the rains, when there is water in the falls. Compared to other parts of the park, I see more wildlife in that section. I always wonder why more people don't ride it. This spring, I did a great deal of bushwacking to keep it open, it is great shape now.
