What part of the trails will this affect if I am riding from the bottom? Would it be worth riding SJT?

It doesn't. He is talking about Aliso. *edit x2-I'm open to shuttle it tomorrow.

I was looking to start at the bottom, parking lot off Hot Spring Canyon Road, ride up and then back down.

Rode San Juan today. Trail conditions perfect. I climbed from the bottom and did the Old San Juan loop. Kinda hot out though.

    Great pictures!

I road it on Saturday, great ride, first timer on the trail. Condition good, weather was warm. I did get a correction ticket for parking without a pass.

The rangers ALWAYS close the trails at Aliso woods after it rains. At least for one day, and sometimes several.

Yup, closed for days. San Juan has the best drainage, canyons turn into a mud pit. Ought not to ride any of them for 48 hours but roadies are the minority here.;)
