Driver Who Killed Cyclist....Suing Victims Family......WTF?????

    Killing someone and then suing their family because you are traumatized that you killed them DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.

    Since when does the legal system make sense? Have money to hire representation or a potential case for a lawyer to make money and you can have a lawsuit.

    From the sound of it, the kids were more at fault and the family already tried to or is still currently trying to sue the driver. As much as it sucks that the person who killed your child is suing you, it also isn't great that an ambulance chasing lawyer and/or greedy family member thought they could sue money out of someone they likely assumed was automatically guilty.

    Like the old adage there's three sides to every story, I wouldn't be so quick to judge although on appearance it doesn't seem like the morally right thing to do. If there's one thing for certain whatever the truth, it makes for a great case that the media could spin however they see fit.
