If I remember right from last year, a lot of the trail is though the trees, which will provide quite a bit of cover from the rain.

I'll be driving up Thursday afternoon, shuttling the OHV area in Auburn on Friday, and have 2 runs reserved for the DV shuttle on Saturday.

If anyone spots me say hi, I'll have a black full face helmet and will be riding a Blue Specialized Pitch.

I can't make this one! I'm bummed. I'll be happy to tour anyone that wants to join me and a couple friends over the 4th of July! I'll be going for about 4 to 5 days!
    Craig?

    FYI...
1)DVille in the rain can go two ways and I've done both. Foggy, cold as hell, slippery rocks and a cliff on your right. Trails really wet and some minor mud. They seem to drain very well.

2)Drizzley and gloomey, not terribly cold and the trails were like your bike was locked on rails! WHHOOOOOSH!! (zoomzoom!)

What's the best route to take? We'll be leaving Thursday afternoon from Tim's house in Fullerton.
