Downhill downhill tomorrow anyone?

anyone want to join me and some buddies for some nice dh tomorrow?
conditions should be prime and it'll be a great day.
oh, this would be at the super secret DH trail, located near the 57 freeway.

either a dark metallic gray/gunmetal expedition with thule rack or a raw jamis diablo with white marz 66's there's a big red sticker that sez jamis on the down tube :?:

eh, reign it is. the fork is super sucky right now, but it's better than nothing. too much work to make the mob work for DH :lol:, and the back tire on my trek would be sketch for a few choice corners on that track (can you say BLOWOUT!?)

oh yeah... we're climbing up... or walk some of it :-k:lol: I'm taking that street by the left side all the way to the fire road to the top...

if worse comes to worsse, i'll drive 1 shuttle run and go to the play area

Hmm, I suppose you can't divulge the location of this super secret spot. I'm just now getting into DH and I want to give the big bike a try. Don't want to hold anybody up, however.

 

From Laguna Beach, head up the 57 i believe, and once you reach the 210 you are about 5-7 minutes away. if you would like, i can help you out tomorrow, just shoot me a PM.
the more the merrier, as its usually easier to get shuttles back to the top.
And about the slow thing, we ride to have fun, i personally dont mind waiting, since i know the trail, i can go ahead and wait at the splits, and in front of the drops and stuff so you all know where they are at.
I would like to stop and roll up to the new stepdown double once, so i can hit it hopefully.

should I bring the sequoia if I can? that's 2 bikes easy on the rack, and probably one inside if we're short on shuttles :?:

 

yeah, bring the sequoia.
if worse comes to worse, i may be able to flex the laws and drive the truck over, its only a block anyways.
or, if worse really comes to worse, my gpa said he would shuttle us a few times..

I can drive with a california licensed driver over the age of 25 that is insured :lol:
But, if im a good driver and follow all the laws, i cant get pulled over.
nahh, like i said, my grandpa said he wouldnt mind sitting in the car while i drive people to the top :wave:

well, i'm pretty good, i drive the speed limit and signal to turn and stop before the limit line, leave plenty of distance, all that good stuff.
