    maybe a BB party before closing? The group could get together and pay for your 'lift' ticket and ride up - and the liquid refreshments?

    Maybe start a 'crash jar' money in for crashing to donate to beer fund :beer:

    i could be persuaded to come along on a ride. my only advice on mathis is to put your head down, get a groove, and pedal. fwiw, I don't descend that trail. I can, but I know how fast I'll be going, and how easily I could end up in the ER as a result of said speed. not my cuppa tea.

    Lynx would be a good trail to learn skills on though. same with stairsteps.

    hit me up though, we could arrange something :wave:

    Dude, you don't want to bomb down Matthis. Too many hikers and climbers, plus it is too straight in parts. Several good DH and AM trails very nearby. :beer:
