Curious how many people would be interested in a sport level clinic for DH skills, IE Track standing, Braking technique, Corning tech ETC.....

Not something I am looking to charge for, something for free for people out there, also looking for a location that would be an easy place for most to meet, something short that is easily hikeable as well.

A parking lot will be needed to start with.

Hi Mike. Maybe something can be arranged in Sycamore. Alison (nerdgirl) and I would be very interested in something like this. Lately, we've been using our Sunday rides to work on our technical and downhill skills, but we could really use some outside instruction.

Itll be something put on my G.S.D.R. racing, nothing super technical, just help with some more than basic work.

I would use Sycamore for a beginner clinic, some good stuff there, but nothing that you cant handle on a rigid there.

Stuff like this usually lands everyone at Fontana, different runs, easy access, parking lot access.

Would you be down for that???

Totally. We haven't had the pleasure of riding in Fontana yet. Sounds like fun!

well, if you end up arranging such a beginner seminar sort of thing, I'd be happy to help with the instruction.

I won't be nearly as helpful as Julius, but I would be able to give basic pointers to help people get some confidence and start riding better.

They always say that the best way to learn something is to teach it, so why not help myself at the same time.

with regard to venue, I think fontana would be great. lots of useful features to use in varying skill levels, accessible, and lots of parking. plus, it will help people get used to the terrain so they can be more comfortable come race season.

Ok, I will set something up for a Sunday. Give me a couple weekends to get it all lined up, and that way people have time to plan to come as well
