I have a couple Garmins and get all my accessories at HRO. They have an extensive online catalog and a local store in Anaheim.

Not familiar with the other mfg.'s. Might check their sites directly.

    GPS

I ride with a garmin forerunner 201. I bought my bike mount straight from the garmin website. If you do a google search for "garmin forerunner 201 bike mount" you will find them all over the web too. What make and model is your GPS unit?

    timely topic

I just got a Garmin Rino 120 yesterday with the built in FRS/GMRS radio built in. I got it primarily for the boat and ATV but it would be cool to use on the trail too. I'll look into a mount as well. I'm wondering how well it will work inside a Camelbak. Has anyone tried that?

I place my Garmin Legend in my Camelback with the patch antenna facing up. I only take it with me exploring new trails.

I download track logs from other Mountain Bikers sites when I go into an unfamiliar areas. I find track logs online usually they are in National Geographic Map format.

GPS are helpful finding trailheads but should not replace a good Topo map.
