Expert? thats a really fast class at Fontana. I gone on rides with a few of the people from that class, and the whole time they are no where to be seen because they are so far ahead. haha

For example, DHwebkook, his bro and I shuttled San Juan once. By the time we were half way through the switch backs- Brad (dhwebkook) was already back at his car loading up his bike and relaxing.

So when are you getting that Turner?

yeah, but I'm always up for a challenge. If I see people take off like that, I chase them as hard as I can to try and catch them. I just need to start riding with people that are up in that class more often. only way to get faster it to ride with faster people.

also, goals are exactly that, goals. if I don't make it, :?: if I do, that's awesome

so today at work, i planned on truing both my wheels. after my front wheel, the main mechanic at the shop, Randy said, dood, your rear hub is laced wrong #-o
So i took it apart, and got an idea, what if i put new nipples on it to make the wheels more interesting. I looked at our 2 different ano blue ones, purple, green, gold, silver, and just plain new black ones. i decided on these. this is a cell phone shop, sorry the lighting was bad, but i think it looks PIMP.
you have to see it in person, its Sexy.

note that the wheel wasnt built, i took it when i was still lacing it.
my first lacing and wheel build. And i did it with nearly no problems.

North on towne, to where it dead ends..
Call me when you are about 30 minutes away, and i will ride there and meet you.
it kinda deadends, and theres a dirt lot thats fenced off on the corner, you cant miss me with my glory
and no more purple stuff, the purple nipples just throw some contrast into the bike, and looks PIMP

probably get away with some shuttling in aliso viejo. I'd happily come along if I'm not too busy with school.

Unfortunatly, SSDHtrail isnt a place to train to get faster at Fontana. Dont get me wrong its an absolute blast place to go riding, but its totally different riding style than Fontana.

    See you guys tommorrow morning

Very, VERY true. SSDHT is a great confidence booster. It has some really nice hi speed corners, some nice tec, some nice drops. Also it has a great Pucker factor.

not much pucker to the trails themselves. the big ladder, and a few of the jumps in the play area are damn big though.

I love a lot of the corners in there though. a lot of them are shallow, off-camber slopes on the inside of the turn, with a steep, berm-like outside. so fun to just pin the front wheel around the off-camber part and drift the back wheel into place. braap

oh.. and PIMP PIMP PIMP :bang:
